Unlocking the Realm and Catching the Flying Books

To begin this quest, travel to the Dream Castle and unlock the Beauty and the Beast realm on the third floor for 12,500 Dreamlight. Upon entering the castle, follow the flying golden book down the hallway into the massive library. Speak with Belle, who will ask for your assistance in retrieving five flying books scattered around the room.

Catching these books simply requires running near them and interacting as they float past. Once you gather all five books, return them to Belle to restore order to the library. She will then explain her recent disagreement with the Beast regarding the restricted West Wing.

Finding the Secret Passage and Crafting a Disguise

To investigate the situation, you must locate a hidden entrance in the library near a broken ladder. Search the room to gather four broken ladder steps and two missing wheels to repair the mechanism. After repairing the ladder, interact with it to reveal a secret passage hidden behind a curtain.

Before entering, Belle will advise you to craft a disguise to safely approach the Beast. Search around the castle ground floor to collect four castle candles, one candle holder, and a golden curtain. Bring these crafting items back to Belle, equip the custom costume, and step through the curtain into the West Wing.

Resolving the Conflict with the Enchanted Canvas

Confront the Beast in his quarters to discover that he is upset about a ruined portrait. Return to the library to speak with Belle, then consult Merlin back in the main valley for assistance. Merlin will instruct you to craft an Enchanted Canvas using specific materials gathered from around the valley.
